Fantastiline!
Hommikusöögisaalis tekkis tunne, et me oleme viga. Kõikide nende kroonlühtrite säras, keerubitest õhkuvast ajaloolise tolmu hägus, punaste hääletute sametvaipade peal kõndides oma tenniste, teksade ja t-särkidega.. ups! Vale sajand!
Linnake ise just nagu kuurortlinnake ikka. Mere ääres, turistide ja suveniiriputkadega. Huvitava segunenud arhitektuuriga.

Opatija - very sweet Croatian coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. A fashionable resort in the 19th century, it's dotted with Habsburg-era villas.
It was so hot that day that my jeans almost melted.
We were lucky to have a room in one of those historical buildings that are now hotels. Hotel Imperial was ours and it is a historical building constructed in 1885 that was originally named after the Belgian princess and Austrian crown princess Stephanie.
We had a room with balcony (just enough room to fit us :) ) We also had a bathroom with a bathtub but I waited the warm water so long that I almost gave up (we were at the top floor). But - the view from our balcony was just fantastic! It was the sunrise side.
The next morning in the breakfast hall I felt like like a mistake. All the chandeliers and the red carpets and all the imperial designs... And we were in t-shirts and jeans ... ups. Wrong century!
But the feeling in this house were good. One could almost go back in time and get lost.
The town itself is an interesting bouquet of different eras, specially the architecture. But otherwise like any resort - near the sea and with tourists and souvenir sellers.
Worth to visit!
meie tuba oli seal üleval paremal nurgas, kaarega rõdu :)
